Introducing the new Morgan/OAK Racing LMP2 car
My god, does it sound fantastic!

Ah, but I’ll bet its chassis isn’t made from wood, now is it?

This very car (or similar) was at the Greenwich Concours a few years ago. It’s absolutely brutal in real life.

Large Hadron Collider (LHC) generates a ‘mini-Big Bang’
This image depicts: “One of the lead-ion collisions at the LHC.”
The experiment created temperatures a million times hotter than the centre of the Sun.

I don’t remember colliding with no lead.

Ford GT-R at Laguna Seca in the ALMS series.

I’m so glad these guys are still out there. Whenever I turn on the tv to watch a race and see a silver Ford GT in the back of the pack, I’m happy. They never do particularly well, but they’re there at nearly every race, trying hard and really going for it.
Where does their money come from, if they never win? Do they really and sincerely believe that they’ve got a shot every week? Does it matter to them that their car is now seven or eight years old?
I was at Sebring a couple of years ago for the 12 Hour race. I got there a little late, only about 30 minutes before the green flag, and only got to see a couple of the cars at the back end of the starting grid. The silver GT-R was there though, and I was thrilled to see it out there, basically a 40-year-old shape battling with the newest designs from Peugeot, Audi, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche (though arguably the Porsches still look similar to their 40-year-old selves also). It was a wonderful sight.

Le Mans is my shit.

I was bummed when I first found out that this was just an Audi R8 with a closed-cockpit body on it… It still looks awesome, though.

Far too much awesome in one picture.
Too bad the Porsches are all up front…
