Things to note:
- Written by David E. Davis, Jr.
- Ford GT-40 camera car
- Impossibility of telling the actors & crew from the actual race drivers & crew members
- All-around late 1960’s badassery
Ferrari 330 P3/4 at the 1967 Targa Florio.
Have I blogged a P3/4 lately? I don’t think I’ve blogged a P3/4 lately.
Everybody needs more P3/4.

The Kinks ”Waterloo Sunset”
Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa (Sad Song) by the King of Soul Otis Redding live in London 1967.
My god it’s raining ridiculously hard right now. But Otis is here, so it’s ok.
As long as the house doesn’t float away.
Swear to god, I’m not going outside unless it’s in a boat or with a scuba tank.

Things to note:
- Tammi Terrell had a set of pipes!
- The vocals sit a little low in the mix here. I apologize.
- The Detroit Symphony Orchestra sounds absolutely beautiful here. I should put an mp3 of just their part up here.
- That being said, The Funk Brothers are cookin’ too. James Jamerson killed the bass line.
- I had no idea more than one drummer played on this tune. There’s at least two on full kits, with Jack Ashford’s tambourine absolutely driving the whole section.
Enjoy.
