Y’all can have your shiny new 599’s and Californias. I’ll take a 550/575 any day.
You can keep your aluminum chassis and carbon fiber whatsits. I’d like my Ferrari with a big V12 up front, bolted to a tubular steel-frame chassis, just like they made in the 1950’s.
I don’t need lights on the steering wheel or paddles behind it.* I don’t want adaptive aerodynamics or a million computers between me and the road.
I’ll take mine from the mid-90’s, just before they moved the seat to the left and put fenders on Formula 1 cars. It’ll still snap your head off.
*Full disclosure: the one and only 575 I’ve been in had flappy paddles, and it was awesome. But I wouldn’t want to live with it.
